You & Me. Always.

unmi is the lowercase expression of a simple idea: you and me.

The relationship between a person and an animal can be deeply ordinary while it is happening — familiar footsteps, a place on the couch, the way they looked at you — and enormously important when it is gone.

We created unmi to make one kind of memorial well.

A physical likeness of your pet, created from the photographs you already have, with enough care built into the process that you can see and approve what is being made before it becomes permanent.

We are not a large pet-gift catalogue. We do not manufacture urgency around grief. And we do not believe that sending photographs through an automated process without explanation is enough for something this personal.

Every order begins with human review. Every sculpture has a proof stage. Every customer has an opportunity to request one revision. Production begins only after approval.

Each piece also includes a private digital memorial so the photographs and videos behind the sculpture can remain connected to it.

unmi is independently founded in Australia by Eric Vuong & Anthony Hou.

We are building it slowly: beginning with one sculpture family, learning from real orders, and improving the process before adding anything else.

That is the standard we would want for something made to remember someone important.
