unmi respects the fact that the photographs and videos people send us can be deeply personal.
Information we collect
When you place or manage an order, we may collect your name, email address, telephone number, billing and delivery information, order and payment information, photographs and videos you submit, information you provide about your pet, proof files and revision comments, memorial-page content, communications with us, and technical information needed to operate and secure our website.
Your payment card information is processed by our payment providers and is not stored directly by unmi.
How we use your information
We use personal information to process your order, review your photographs, create and manage your proof, produce and deliver your sculpture, create and operate your digital memorial, provide customer support, prevent fraud, meet legal obligations, and improve the reliability of our service.
Your uploaded photographs, videos and memorial content
Photographs, videos and other media supplied for an order are used to fulfil and support that order.
We do not use your order photographs, videos, proof files or memorial content for advertising, social media, public galleries, promotional portfolios or model training unless you give separate opt-in consent for that specific use.
Purchasing from unmi is not consent to marketing use or model training.
Service providers
We may use trusted service providers including Shopify, payment providers, photo-upload services, proof-management services, production partners, digital memorial hosting providers, email providers, shipping providers and security and analytics providers. We provide these organisations only with information reasonably required for the service they perform.
Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably required. Original order photographs and production files are retained for [confirmed retention period] after fulfilment unless required longer for an unresolved order issue or legal requirement.
Digital memorial privacy
At launch, memorial pages are private by link rather than protected by an individual login. They are not intended to appear in search-engine indexes, and we use URLs designed not to be easily guessed. Anyone who obtains the private link or scans the QR code may be able to view the page. You should share the link only with people you trust.
Marketing communications
We will send marketing communications only where we have an appropriate basis to do so. You can unsubscribe at any time.
